Remembering Vidrohi: Poetry reading & Film Screening. Dec 16, Indumati Sabhagriha, 5 pm
Dear friends,
People's poet, eternal rebel and the natural 'hridaysamrat' (king of hearts) of all young people who dream of another world - Ramashankar Yadav 'VIDROHI' - is no more.
Please attend a memorial meeting in Kolkata on 16th December (Wednesday) at Indumati Sabhagriha (next to Jadavpur University gate no. 4 and Jadavpur University Post Office) from5-8 pm.
With this we wrap up public film screenings for this year, and step up preparations for the forthcoming 3rd Kolkata People's Film Festival from 22-24 January 2016 at the Jogesh Mime Academy Auditorium, Kolkata.

Poetry reading session, songs and recounting by Mrityunjay, noted Hindi poet, scholar and activist who knew Vidrohi for many years.
Reminiscences by other people in the audience who met and knew Vidrohi, or want to speak about his poetry.

Indumati Sabha Griha is just beside the Jadavpur Vidyapith, and is next to Gate No-4 of the Jadavpur university (Bengal Lamp bus stop). Please note,the venue is not inside the campus, and can be reached directly from the main road, i.e., Raja Subodh Chandra Mullick Road.
