Mumbai echoed with chants of 'Jai Bhim' on Sunday as people from all parts of India wound their way to Dadar's Chaityabhoomi, the resting place of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, to pay obeisance on his 59th death anniversary.In the national capital,President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders on Sunday remembered Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 60th death anniversary, which is being observed as 'Mahaparinirvan Diwas.'.

But No mainstream political party cared to pay tribute to Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced earlier that the state will celebrate BR Ambedkar's 125 birth anniversary on December 30.But she failed to pay tribute in any ceremony in Bengal on 'Mahaparinirvan Diwas'!
But the Governor in Bengal,Keshrinath Tripathi made it 'Mahaparinirvan Diwas'without failure!
Left never included caste question in their study circles nor it allowed the comrades to discuss Dr.Br Ambedkar at all.But those political parties engaged in Abedkar business in rest of the country,did not care to remember Ambedkar in Bengal at all.rather all political parties engaged themselves to lodge their protest against the Babri Mosque demolition which they could not stop.No doubt,this protest would set their respective Vote Bank.
In the Parliament,it was unilateral glorification of Dr BR Ambedkar to woo respective vote banks and st afresh the election equations.
The Prime minister referred to the economic thoughts of Dr BR Ambedkar and claimed that those thoughts have not been understood.He did not care to explain the reference and context as well as the text itself.
The Parliament had nothing to do with Ambedkar ideology!
