Dear All,

Greetings from Parittran and Bangladesh Dalit Parishad .

The outcaste communities in our country are variously deprived and prey of violence. Among them, Dalit and Tribal women are the worst sufferers. It is thus essential that we work to establish a state and society founded on democracy and diversity, where harmony among all castes and religions exists.

Keeping this goal in view, Parittran and the Bangladesh Dalit Parishad, working for the establishment and protection of Dalit people's rights, on the occasion of World Dignity Day 2009, are going to organize, throughout Southern Bangladesh , a Dalit Campaign for One Month from the 6th of November to the 5th of December 2009. Manusher Jonno Foundation is extending its all out support to the initiative.

We solicit your cordial participation in the programme to make it vibrant and meaningful.

With best regards
