Congratulations Taslima Nasrin to have a Boyfriend in Delhi!
But Taslima Nasrin  should not be trapped by Sangh Pariwar.
Palash Biswas
Congratulations Taslima Nasrin to have a Boyfriend in Delhi!
But she should not be trapped by Sangh Pariwar.

I had been unaware that  the exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen recently raked another controversy when she posted her photos with her boyfriend on social networking site, Twitter. Not only this, taking everyone to surprise, Nasreen wrote, "My boyfriend in 20 years younger to me. Isn't it cool?" Surprisingly, this tweet was re-tweeted by 22 people in 15 minutes.
By tweeting this, Taslima has made it clear that she is not single anymore. Daring step, isn't it!
I had been in North India since 14 th Oct.to 31st Oct and had been disconnected.I missed the news.
In fact,I had to write on Taslima as I was writing on Hok KOLOROB diverted to HOK Kiss!

I always respected Taslima for her non compromising stance against the patriarchal religious hegemony and the accuracy of her language dealing with equality, humanity and social justice.
Taslima might know,I had always been supporting her in writing and speech and always wanted her to settle in Bengal.Nevertheless, I never did support Sunil stream of urban post modernism limited into man woman relationship neglecting social realism.
I supported Taslims for her writing based in Bangladesh,in which she addressed the issues of women and detailed the hell losing on women and depressed deprived classes in this bleeding geopolitics.
I am sorry to say that her novel Lajja telling all about minority persecution in Bangladesh has been used as a tool for minority persecution in India as her crusade against Islamists proved to be a boon for Hindutva forces so much so that prime minister Narendra Modi and the Sangh Pariwar had always been using her writing for communal polarization. I never did hold Taslima responsible for this.

But influenced by Sunil Gangopadhyay and friends abroad, her writing have been reduced into physical pleasure losing social relevance whatsoever and she has no role to consolidate the fight for democracy and secularism, civic right and human rights either in India or Bangladesh, her homeland or anywhere else.
knowingly or unknowingly the most powerful and potential writer of our time lost relevance to change the society and rather it had been strengthening the barbaric patriarchal Hindutva and Hindu Nation campaign which is quite a turnaround of her basic stance to deny religion whatsoever. It worries me.
Woman`s lib is not all about sex or liberation is not all about liberation of human body. Both have to relate to humanity and nature,as I believe and a writer  as much as potential as she happens to be,should try her best to change the system which she correctly describes patriarchal.

I would write on this topic later. But the issue was  about diversion of people`s resisatnce. Those students who had been crying that JAMAT RSS dui Bhai,EK dadite Fansi chai, those who had been crying CPIM Trinmul Itihaser Bhul and were unifying the students worldwide, now demanding liberty of kissing creating a cultural shock for agrarian geopolitics irrespective of political border.
I have always been against moral policing and I am not against love or kissing. It is basically private affair as the religious faith happens to be.To make love public depends on environment and soical atmosphere. But this is notourissue.
Sex is a commodity as the anatomy of a woman. The Market forces do retail it and we should be aware of that.

They demand for kissing liberty, nothing wrong but they have defocused the HOK KOLOROB as Taslima uprooted from home has lost the focus and relevance and has been reduced to be a commercial writer.

I strongly expect that Taslima should get a home.
If Taslima gets married,I would be rather very happy.
Now it seems that Sangh Pariwar is not against the iead to allow Taslima having Indian citizenship.Welcome.
But Taslima should be aware of the trap that she should not be part of RSS game of capture Bengal with a crusade against Islamists.I am just afraid and expect Taslima to prove me wrong.

Taslima, who has been living in exile for the last few years after clerics in Bangladesh issued a fatwa against her, has undoubtedly taken a bold step. It is sure that the speculations regarding her 'enigmatic private life' would come to end following the tweet but she will surely drew flak from the hardliners for this step. The question here arises why she took this extreme step? What was the need to reveal her private life in public? Some people say that she has found, if the tweet is right, a companion which she has been looking for last many years and now she wants to flaunt it.
Taslima was forced to quit her country of origin in 1994 for her controversial writings that were branded anti-Islamic and feminist in a nation largely dominated by the Muslims. Muslim extremists had called for her death following her most controversial book, "Lajja".
