Terrible times.Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay is dear to the present BJP/RSS regime because as a Hindutva ideologue he supported Casteism. He named it as swadharma. According to him while performing duties to to fulfill it one should not bother about "high and love, dignified and undignified". He treated Muslims and Christians as outsiders and did not accord the status of independent religions to Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. He wanted the Indian constitution to be replaced by Manusmriti as a true RSS follower.
