Modi is unlikely to address any BJP rally or meet party leaders during his one-day visit to the state, a decision that has upset local party members. It is learnt that the prime minister will be in Bengal only for a few hours and might visit Sagar Island to inaugurate a state government project besides attending a function of Gaudiya Math.
Mind you, in all the functions, Banerjee will accompany the prime minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit West Bengal on February 21 to lay foundation stones of some government projects and attend a function at the Goudiya Math in Kolkata.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee will accompany him.
CPIM Congress alliance is reduced to face book posts and gossip mongering media.The CPIM Polit bureau is no mood to lose Kerala or Tripura for electoral alliance with Congress.
However, the so much so hyped alliance if done,would benefit Congress only and then it might sweep North Bengal as Left votes are committed in nature and would follow party decision.
But Congress supporters are all set to vote for Congress or BJP while they would have to vote for the left.Thus,the Left Congress alliance is gone with the wind.
On the other hand,Mamata Modi solidarity is all set to consolidate as Modi skips State BJP to woo Mamta.
Come the historical date,Modi is scheduled to spend a whole day with Mamata to woo the lady.
RSS camp in Bengal is rather upset that Modi has no time for the partymen.Rather everywhere,it is Mamata Banerjee who would accompany the shffron God.
Modi is scheduled to visit Gaudiya Math in North Kolkata,in Bag Bazar.Then he would fly to Sagar Dweep to open the deep sea Port Project and Mamata Banerjee would be with him.
Moreover,the duo have to sit together in privacy.
The Modi Mamata chemistry gets stronger with the alliance hype while Bengal is all set to go for Vote in perhaps April next.
