PAAIA Participates in 8th Annual NY Persian Parade

On April 10th, 2011, the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) will proudly join hands with several prominent Iranian American organizations to march in the 8th Annual New York Persian Parade.  In prior years, thousands of Iranian Americans have attended this resplendent celebration of the Persian New Year, Nowruz.  Over 50,000 spectators are expected this year.  The parade will begin promptly at noon on Madison & 38th Street and will end at Madison Square Park, where festivities will continue amidst the inaugural Persian Parade Bazaar.

Intership Opportunity with PAAIA DC

The Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) has a summer internship opportunity in Washington DC available to college and university students.
 Position Summary

The intern is expected to participate and drive several projects currently under way in DC including: assisting with planning and preparing for the Passing the Torch of Success event, developing materials on Iranian and world history, as well as several other projects under review.
