Dr R.M.Pal is no more

Dear Friend,

It is sad to inform you that former President of Delhi PUCL and former editor of PUCL Bulletin and The Radical Humanist Dr R.P.Pal passed away on 13th October in Thane near Mumbai.  As many of you know, Dr Pal mentored many youngsters like me into human rights movement, spoke passionately against caste and communal violence in the country and warned us against majoritarian communalism. I call him one of the leading human rights champions of the country who was fearless in his views against discrimination of any kind.
