Show your solidarity with Snowden, Demand for political asylum

Edward Snowden had unveiled the truth of US's intelligence system. He has become a "villain" of the state as he has exposed the illegal activity of the intelligence. In the name of curbing "terrorism", NSA has been violating our privacy which is unethical and illegal. NSA has been spying, invading into the email accounts and tracking cell phone conversations, without any consent. India was one of the 38 targets. For exposing the truth, NSA has been chasing Snowden as an "accused" of a criminal activity.
We all believe that Mr. Snowden must get protection against the US state led forces. It takes great courage to stand up against your own government and Snowden did that for us. He exposed his government in the whole world and he did all that, at the risk of his life. Today, he is trying to take political asylum in other countries. However, it is disgusting that the same nations that he has tried to save have denied him asylum. This includes India. India has given political asylum to many political figures but why not him? He had challenged US imperialism and tried to save India from it. So if you think that what Snowden did was right, if you support his courage and if you are against this illegal activity of NSA, join us to show your solidarity with him and demand from the Government of India to grant him political asylum, at India Gate, on Sunday i.e. 7th July, at 4 PM.
This gathering will be to show our solidarity with Snowden and to demand from our government to provide him political asylum. We demand justice for him.
