The first World Friendship Day was proposed for 30 July 1958. On 27 April 2011 the General Assembly of the United Nations declared[3] 30 July as official International Friendship Day. However, some countries, including India[4], celebrate Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August. इस हिसाब से तो आज ही मित्रता दिवस है। अगले वर्ष अगस्त के प्रथम सप्ताह में आपको फिर से बधाई दूँगा। मित्रता दिवस पर बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएँ!
