Rally against Kamduni Gang Rape Case
The Social Activists, Peoples Organizations, Intellectuals Youth and women, government staff protested on the streets of Kolkata and took out a march from College Square to Esplanade on 21 June, 2013. People in this rally raised their voice against the bad governance of the Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee. Thousands of people including the villagers of Kamduni took part in this huge rally demanding justice for the Barasat, Kamduni victim and crimes against women.
Particularly the protestors demanded justice to the victim of a second-year college student abducted, gang-raped and killed by a group of antisocial on June 7 when she was returning home after appearing in an examination. The activists of Udayani Social Action Form also took part in this protest Rally.
The rally started at 3 p.m. from College Street. The convener of the Rally Poet Sankha Ghosh requested to the protesters not to raise political slogan by any recognized political party. Following this people raised so many slogans against the bad governance of the Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee. Activists of SACHETAN BANGLA also took part and raised slogans. It attracted the people inside the rally. The protestors also raised their loud voice with our activists. The main slogans were as follows :
1) Banglar Manush Ek Hao ( The People of Bengal be unite)
2) 2 Bachare Pelam ki ( What we get in this 2 Years governance)
3) Bhay keno Bhai Halla bol (Don't be afraid, raise your voice).
4) Why the crime is being increasing day by day, Government should be answered.
5) We demand justice and ask to punish to the criminals. 
The West Bengal Government didn't allow the Rally to organize their concluding meeting at Metro Channel while the ruling political party has been organizing meeting frequently at the same place. So the convener ended the rally at Esplanade on the street. Some TV Channels made interview of our women activists came from South 24 Parganas district.
